Whatever you seek, Meetinghouse Farm has space for you

  • Meditation and Contemplation

Located in a secluded area of the Farm, Meetinghouse Farm’s Woodland Labyrinth offers an ancient, meditative path to reflect peacefully on our lives, while surrounded and supported by nature. The Woodland Labyrinth is one of only 12 labyrinths located on public land in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The labyrinth is open to all during daylight hours for self-guided walks. The Farm also offers communal guided walks and meditative exercises throughout the year.

  • Community Gardening

Meetinghouse Farm offers 30 garden plots for rent in its community garden space. Growers have access to water, mulch, wood chips, and free advice, including several “walk-abouts” by Master Gardeners each season, as well as classes on seed starting and cultivation.

The plots also include a demonstration garden tended by Meetinghouse Farm volunteers illustrating best practices and the advantages of native plants.

Join a supportive community of gardeners at all levels and revel in a productive harvest of produce, flowers, and camaraderie!

  • Greenhouse Space

Each February, Meetinghouse Farm offers 30 bench spaces for rental to gardeners of all levels to begin their seedlings and learn from experienced gardeners.

Bench users have access to water, planting containers, and seed starter, as well as the opportunity to attend classes in seed starting practices, native plants, and Master Gardener question and answer sessions.

Benches are available on a first come, first serve basis, and vary in size depending on availability and needs.

  • Walking and Discovering

Meetinghouse Farm has a variety of short walking trails with mild inclines, which guide walkers through a series of environments. Visit our stunning rhododendron forest, for breathtaking views of ancient, wild plants which flowers spectacularly each Spring, or walk the long path and examine several of our rare trees, including a giant cypress, or take in the gardens surrounding the greenhouses, framed by our ancient beech trees.

Each year, Meetinghouse Farm offers guided walks with tree and nature experts, examining the bounty of edible plants and unusual and native species we have to offer.

  • Learning and Celebrating

Meetinghouse Farm offers a wide array of classes to expand your horizons. Join us for outdoor yoga, held each Saturday during the Summer and early Fall, lectures by nature and plant experts, Master Gardener demonstrations, and workshops on building, creating, and planting. Many of our offerings are free, or donation-based.

In addition, we host celebrations for many seasonal events, including the Summer and Winter Solstice, Harvest time, and through our Spring and Fall clean-ups, the chance to meet new friends and celebrate community.

  • Healing

Nature and gardening offer the chance to connect with the earth, and find peace. Whether you follow the colors in the spectacular quilt gardens, meander along the labyrinth, or simply relax on a bench in the pollinator garden, Meetinghouse Farm offers a space to help heal the heart and nourish the soul.
